freeRadio use with YouTube
freeRadio enables you to play radio stations whilst watching a YouTube video. The freeRadio functionality is combined with
a YouTube video so you can listen to the radio if there's no sound for the video or you'd prefer to listen to the radio rather than
the sound provided with the video. You can even play the radio as background sound to a video for videos where for example there's someone
that's mostly talking.
To use

Each YouTube video has a unique identifier. The best way to find the YouTube identifier for a video is to use the Share option in YouTube.
The characters at the end of the YouTube address are the unique identifier. Copy the unique identifier.

Paste the unique identifier into the above field and press Submit.
Keep updated.
Click and Subscribe to YouTube Channel.
Bookmarklet Windows desktop users
A bookmarklet is a small amount of code that can be added to the toolbar of the browser to perform a specific function. The freeRadio
bookmarklet enables you to highlight the unique identifier, the press on the bookmarklet in the toolbar and run the YouTube video.
Want to zoom in and out of a YouTube video or listen to radio whilst watching a YouTube video? Now you can.
To use, highlight the YouTube video identifier and then click on the freeRadio bookmarklet.

Drag the following bookmarklet to your favourites toolbar. This creates a link on the toolbar.Click the Volume Up button or Volume Down button to increase or decrease the volume. You can also use
the volume control on your device. On an Apple device use the device's volume buttons.

Click the Mute button to silence the radio station. Click the speaker button to start listening to the
radio station again. Note muting the radio station continues to use data. On an Apple devices used the device's volume buttons.

Select the radio station from the selection list. The radio station will start playing after a few seconds.
No need to press the Play button on Android devices or desktops. Press the Play button on Apple devices.
NOTE:
freeRadio has been set up to enable you to play a radio station of your choice if you know the streaming URL
for the radio station. Only mp3 and aac streams will work. For example, to play the ABC News radio station enter
the following url: www.freeradio.com.au/?url=https://live-radio01.mediahubaustralia.com/PBW/mp3/
Change the value of the url parameter to the stream for the radio station of your choice. Press the Play button to
start the radio station. The list of stations does not change.
